Before and After School Care
As children exit our program, it is our goal that they would be able to:
- Safely cut and use scissors appropriately
- Write their name correctly
- Correctly recite the alphabet, days of the week, months of the year and the four seasons
- Recognize numbers, shapes, and letters
In addition to our extended care program for preschool and pre-kindergarten students, we are also able to provide before and after school care for the Kindergarten thru eighth grade students of St. Paul. During normal school days our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Daily Little Giants Schedule
- 7:00-7:35 a.m. Play and prepare for the day
- 7:35-7:40 a.m. Clean up and prepare for students to go to class
- 7:45-8:15 a.m. Free choice, pledges, lunch count
- 8:15-8:30 a.m. Potty and Drink Break
- 8:30-9:00 a.m. Carpet Time (calendar, weather, helpers, and alphabet), Work on daily work (cutting, tracing, writing names)
- 9:00-9:30 a.m. Snack and Bible story while kids eat
- 9:30-10:00 a.m. Recess
- 10:00-10:45 a.m. Learning Time
- 10:45 -11:00 a.m. Songs and Nursery Rhymes with Ms. Nancy
- 11:00-11:25 a.m. Clean up and prepare for lunch. Story time while kids come in from class
- 11:30-12:00 p.m. Lunch
- 12:00-12:30 p.m. Recess
- 12:30-12:45 p.m. Prepare for Naps (potty and put things away)
- 12:45 – 2:20 p.m. Naps
- 2:20–2:30 p.m. Put away nap mats and put on shoes
- 2:30-2:45 p.m. Time for stickers, stories, and songs on carpet
- 2:45-3:00 p.m. Dismissal kids prepare to leave, free choice for after school care kids
- 3:30-4:00 p.m. Homework time for afterschool students
- 4:00-4:15 p.m. Snack
- 4:15-5:30 p.m. Free Choice
- *Electronics for K-8 on Friday only.
